Behind these books is not just one writer, but a partnership in life and ministry. Rev. Steven F. Miller and his wife, M. Jane Miller, served Christ together in the church, on the mission field, and in the classroom. Today, though Steven is with the Lord, their shared work continues to speak to believers who long to understand the gospel and enter Christ’s mission with clarity and courage.

Pastor, Missionary, Teacher, Confessor
Rev. Steven F. Miller served the Lord Jesus Christ as a Reformed and Presbyterian pastor and missionary. He labored in local congregations and in cross-cultural settings, always with a concern that Christ would be honored and His church established on a solid biblical foundation.
Over the years, Steven taught on theology and missions, training men and women to think biblically about the Great Commission and to serve wisely in Christ’s church. Entering Christ’s Mission reflects that teaching ministry: it grows out of his classroom lectures, his pastoral work, and his experiences in missions.
As the author of The Common Man’s Confession, Steven had a particular heart for everyday Christians who feel small or weak, yet love the Lord and want to understand their faith. He believed that the gospel of the Kingdom should be presented in language and categories that ordinary people can grasp, without losing any of its depth or power.
M. Jane Miller
Co-Author, Compiler, and Partner in Mission
As Steven’s wife and partner in ministry, M. Jane Miller shared in the joys and sorrows of pastoral life, missionary work, and family discipleship. She brings the perspective of a woman who has prayed, served, and walked beside her husband in the very arenas these books address.
In Entering Christ’s Mission, Jane serves both as co-author and compiler. After Steven’s earthly work was finished, she gathered his lecture materials, notes, and case studies, carefully shaping them into a cohesive book. In doing so, she preserved his voice and convictions while making his teaching accessible to a wider audience.
Jane’s prayer is that these books will not simply be read, but used—by pastors, missionaries, students, and everyday believers—to deepen faith, strengthen the church, and send God’s people into the world with a clearer confession and a bolder obedience.
A Legacy that Continues…
Though the Lord has now called Steven home, his voice continues through these books. His teaching lives on in pastors, missionaries, congregations, and readers who are being equipped to confess Christ clearly and enter His mission faithfully.
